Meridian is a small newsroom, and every message is read by a person. Use the right channel below and we will get to you faster. If your message concerns a story we have published, a correction or a question about how we reported something, that is the newsroom — not membership — and the addresses differ.
Have a tip?
If you are sharing sensitive information or documents, do not email it. Use our secure tips channel, which explains how to reach us anonymously and protect yourself. Email is not confidential and we cannot promise to shield a source who writes to a general inbox.

Response times
We aim to acknowledge most messages within two working days. Membership and billing queries are usually answered the same day, Monday to Friday. The newsroom reads everything but cannot reply to every message individually — if your tip is acted on, a reporter will be in touch. Press requests on deadline should say so in the subject line and we will prioritise them.
If it is sensitive, send it securely. A general inbox is convenient, but it is not confidential — and protecting a source begins with the first message.Meridian newsroom
